Chicken
The main source of protein used in Gelert Country Choice Chicken & Rice menu. Selected because of its quality, digestibility and taste. Our chicken meal does NOT contain any by-products such as chicken feet, heads, feathers, and beaks. Like all our other ingredients, we pay a premium for the best quality available. The same as the Lamb meat meal, this protein source is derived from EU approved meat processing facilities, and is derived soley from animals passed fit for human consumption.

Lamb
The main source of protein used in Gelert Country Choice Lamb & Rice menu. Selected because of its quality, digestibility and taste. Along with Chicken is one of the most palatable and highly digestible protein sources available. This protein source is derived from EU approved meat processing facilities, and is derived soley from animals passed fit for human consumption.

Rice
Of all the cereals, Rice is widely regarded as the most digestible source of carbohydrate and the least likely to irritate a dog's digestive tract or induce allergic or intolerant reactions.

Ground Wholegrain Yellow Maize
An additional source of highly digestible carbohydrate for energy provision. Also a rich source of linoleic acid (Omega 6). Linoleic acid helps contribute to your pets healthy skin and shiny coat.

Poultry Oil
A rich source of linoleic (Omega 6) acid. Chicken oil lends texture and palatability to the food. As well as providing a source of energy.
